I began to play as a DJ in 1999 and I also created
the LUXOR sound system with my friends this
year. I used to play just hardtek, but I discovered
more styles and began to play UK acid techno,
hardfloor, hardcore, drum n´ bass and
breaks. Music is my life, so I also wanted to
do it as my "work" .
I opened my own vinyl shop, called LXRECORDS
in 2002 and a year later I also made an online
shop. I have really good access to all the records,
so I can choose the best ones for my set that´s
my big big advantage:))) I remember, that playing
one really long set at a party with two turntables
was not enough.. so I tried to play with 3 turntables
and it was huge! :) So since then it is my speciality,
mainly for UK acid techno, hardtechno and hardfloor.
One day I also found that playing on turntables
was not enough so I decided to make my own music.
I bought one machine and tried to make something
on it.. A year later I bought the second one
and began to play livesets and produce tracks.
I established LXRECORDS label and began to produce
records. I released the first record (Ultragedy
01) with my friend Soundbomber in 2004 and then
I produced recs like Demontage 01 & 02,
Protest 01, Metan noise 02, LXREcords 01 etc..
I use Korg MX, SX, MB33 bassline and Mackie
CFX12 mkII in my livesets..no PC! My livesets
are not in one style (like my DJ set). They
are influenced by minimal spiraly mental hardtechno,
acid techno, breaks, pumpin´ hardtek &
hardfloor!
