A natural musician, he gave up his piano for
decks and explored hip hop techniques for several
years (1996-1998): scratch, pass pass, beat
junking.
In 1998, he bought his first sampler in order
to make productions for his ragga band.
His first parties put him in the infernal magic
of the loop and of the synthesis, and since
then he has not been able to switch off from
electronic music.
He began to explore this world and discovered
the techniques of sound. His studio grew with
his passion.
A member of the Narkotek crew since 2002, he
regularly plays in clubs, rave parties and concerts
with his friend Kefran, in France and abroad.
Guigoo composes all the melodies on his vinyls
(like the Narkotek Hors série 1 and 2,
sonik boom 03, etc.), as well as all the scratches
present on his tracks.
More than 10 000 vinyls were sold in 2005 on
the following labels: Sonik Boom, access violation,
kisde, narkotek.
Guigoo has managed to keep in his live his
angry sound of hard tek, the galloping rhythm
of tribe, with a touch of happy and of new school.
Since 2002, nearly 50 000 Narkotek vinyls have
been sold.
Made in tekos has been released, a double cd
mixed containing the best tracks of Kefran and
Guigoo (2004 to 2006).
