Born in 1982 in Nice (south of France), I started
drums at the age of six by attending courses
in a local music academy. Going for any opportunity
which was presented to me, I started playing
in various bands with a single objective: getting
as many and different experiences as possible.
In 1997, I recorded my firsts electronic experimentations
with a multitrack recorder. A year later, encountering
problems in creating serious bands to develop
with, I decided to develop by my own and throw
myself in electronic music and production. I
bought a Roland Mc-303 Groovebox and a Boss
SP202 Dr. Sample Sampler and created my firsts
tracks. Due to my strong background as a drummer,
I was automatically attracted by complex cut
up rhythms such as Jungle and Drum & Bass,
but will finally find in Techno music more freedom
to express myself.
In 2002, my friends and I created the “Eliptik
Corporation” in order to organise regular
events and propose to a local crowd a creative
approach to electronic music. The same year
I recorded my firsts releases for different
underground Techno labels.
Between 2002 and 2004, by searching and trying
to improve my style, I produced tracks in various
styles.
Nowadays I am trying to offer a creative approach
of "dance music" by mixing all my
influences into innovative tracks and live performances
... Sometimes it works, sometimes not !
